Christina Williams received her BS in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in 2005. She completed her MS in Animal Science at North Carolina State University in 2007. Christina's work involves anchoring vertebrate genomes, including the African Elephant, Green
Anole, and Guinea Pig, using multicolor FISH analysis in collaboration
with the Broad Institute.
Christina has always had a love of animals and currently has two cats,
Boomer and Pancake, and two dogs, Mazzy and Cricket. Christina spends her
free time with her husband and pets, watching movies, and being outdoors
